Bog Man
This week we learned about the "BOG MAN" who was found in the mud in Cheshire England. He had been hit in the head, strangled, and his body filled with mistletoe. Work men thought he had been murdered until it was discovered he was over 2000 years old! Archaeologists think he was a sacrifice to the gods. We can never be absolutely sure what happened in the past though. We can only piece together the clues and, with imagination, make an "edumacated" guess.
What do you think happened to the "BOG MAN?" What might he say if he could talk to us now?

I think the "Bog Man" would tell us that lying at the bottom of a swamp for 2000 years is no fun.

I think that the Bog Man would not want to be kept in the bottom of the swamp for 2000 years, insted he would want to be alive pettin kittens! And I also think he did not agree with being put there.

If the Bog Man could talk he might say that he was hit in the head, he was strangled , and he was stuffed
wih mistletoe. Also that he ws sacrificed to the gods.
This is what my people do and it isnt exactly fun but
its what my people do! Then he would talk with us about his history and the celts history.

I believe that the Bog Man is possibly a ruid who was told by the gods to sacrifice him self.If he could talk he would probally tell us who he was and what the Celts were like,and what exactly him.

we think the bog man had done something bad or disrespectful to the gods so he was murdered and then thrown into the bog to be hidden or maybe it was part of a punishment.

i think the bog man would want to tell us about how he sacrafised his life. he might want to know about what has happened in between the years of when he died. he probably would first go to the bathroom, because if i was him, i would want to finish my buisness beforehand. now i can't think of anything else the bog man might do or tell us. so, bye for now mr.kelly!
