Bog Man

This week we learned about the "BOG MAN" who was found in the mud in Cheshire England. He had been hit in the head, strangled, and his body filled with mistletoe. Work men thought he had been murdered until it was discovered he was over 2000 years old! Archaeologists think he was a sacrifice to the gods. We can never be absolutely sure what happened in the past though. We can only piece together the clues and, with imagination, make an "edumacated" guess.
What do you think happened to the "BOG MAN?" What might he say if he could talk to us now?

Leadership Secrtets of Attila the Hun

"Chieftains who lead our Huns must have courage. They must be fearless and have the fortitude to carry out the assignments given them."
"A Chieftain should choose a well made sword, not one glittering with jewels and gold but one honed to a sharp edge and made of the finest material in the land. A sword is the mark of a chieftain."
"No Hun will win every encounter. It matters not whether it be in tribal leadership or on the battlefield.....sometimes you will lose. Learn from defeat!"
Love him or hate him Attila the Hun can teach us a lot about leadership. If you were the leader of the Huns what would your 'leadership secrets' be?
Share them here.

Bar Bar Bar.....Bar Bar Barbarians!

You have just finished designing your Barbarian Comic books. The Barbarian gods and goddesses like Thor and Odin had superpowers including the ability to control the weather and to change their shape. If you were a superhero what power would you most want to have? (for example: Spiderman can shoot webs) How would you use that super power; for good or for evil?
