Most Americans only know Confucius from the bits of wisdom we get from fortune cookies but the great Chinese thinker Confucius devoted his life to improving society through learning and teaching. He taught that doing ones duty, honoring promises, and education were the most important things. He believed in respecting ones ancestors and gave us the golden rule "What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others." Write five Chinese 'fortunes' of your own and share them here.
