Chess Alternatives
We have talked in class about chess as a metaphor for Feudalism in Medieval Europe. The history of the game is much older dating back to 7th century India. Over the years new pieces or 'alternatives' have been added to the board changing the game. Explain your new pieces here and how they changed the game. Was it harder or easier to win with your new piece? Which new piece was your favorite?

Is Chivarly Dead?
A Knight should be courteous, gallant, brave, truthful, strong, just, modest, and loyal. He was to show compassion to the weak and respect and protect women. Explain your act of Chivalry below and how it made you feel. Do you agree with the Code of Chivalry? Is it still important today?
