I think the U.S. is like Rome in many ways because we both have a violent culture (media influence) and inlflation ( in gas). We are different from Rome because we have a better political system and a reliable army. I don't believe that the U.S. will fall soon because we have a top class govermental system and an army ready to defend our borders. I believe that if we are to prevent a fall we cant reduce violence and try to stop inflation.

Rome was in the age of barbarians and Kings and the U.S. has democracy. We think the U.S. will evenually fall because the sun will evenually burn out. We can prevent this by digging tunnels underground where it is warmer.
